I've currently been thinking of making this for a long time now, but I always though it would be way too much work. And yet I'm correct. It will take a lot of work for me and my partners. But we decided to give it a try, what is the worst that can happen? That it wonn't work? Anyway, the main idea was to make a championship for Timesplitters 2. This included a ranking for each level and a player could play the level for a couple of days and then submit the time. However that didn't work. So, we scratched that one and thought about another one. That one was to include 10 rounds with 3 different levels in it. The champion in the round couldn't go further and play the other; he already earned himself a place in the real final. That idea has grown a bit.

Since it's hard to create a fair championship we have done our best to ensure a level playing field. The best solution we found was to keep the Round system. There are 10 rounds with 3 levels in each round and then a final round with all 10 Champion players. Those players fight about winning the whole shit. Each round consists of 1 week. During that week, each player must submit 3 times for each level of the round they play in. You may ask why 3 times? Well, it makes the rankings more fair, allowing the best player to win (eventually). We will rank according to a points system: 1st = 100, 2nd = 90, 3rd = 85, 4th = 83, 5th = 80 and then by two's (78, 76, 74, etc.). Having to submit 3 scores actually makes the best player win instead of the player who gets lucky just once. After the 3 levels have been played, we put together the points and the player with most points wins the round and goes to the final. However, the player that wins one of the 10 rounds can't play any other rounds cause we need 10 different players in the championship. I think I got everything I wanted to say. Good luck to everyone.

Of course, with such a big Tournament we have lay down some rules.
